The ORTIS project is among the top three deeptech developments.

The first season of the Siberian Technology Hub accelerator was held in Novosibirsk from January 29 to March 26, 2026. The organizers were the Academpark business incubator and Gazprombank. As a result of the program , the ORTIS satellite monitoring project became one of the winners and received an invitation to become a participant in the Siberian Technology Hub.
During the acceleration program, the participants carried out extensive work, which included practical modules and sessions with industry experts. At the end of the accelerator, the team held a pitch session in front of representatives of Gazprombank and venture funds. According to the decision of the jury, the three best teams received cash grants from the Siberian Technology Hub for the development of their projects, the opportunity to find strategic partners and establish cooperation with other participants of the hub.
What is the project?
ORTIS is an orbital telematics integrated system that combines orbital satellite groupings and terrestrial telematics solutions for data collection and transmission in "blind" areas where there is no cellular connection. The solution allows you to monitor the operation of "smart" logging and other equipment, autonomous monitoring systems and linear facilities in remote areas where traditional telematics systems are powerless.
The scale of the problem in Russia is significant: according to statistics, more than 80% of the territory of the Russian Federation is out of coverage. GSM connection. The ORTIS solution includes terminals for working with various Russian satellite groups with an antenna complex based on metamaterial technology, as well as specialized software for collecting, processing and transmitting telematics data.
The key advantage of the complex is the ability to provide a full range of telematics services from anywhere in the Russian Federation.
Partnership with Timbermash Baikal
As part of the development of the partner base by the project team A cooperation agreement was signed with Timbermash Baikal, a major supplier of special equipment for the logging industry. The company, founded in 2003, has 19 branches in Siberia, Buryatia and the Trans-Baikal Territory and provides a full range of services for the supply and maintenance of logging equipment.
Timbermash Baikal already has its own developments in the field of remote monitoring of the technical serviceability of equipment. Three years ago, based on the experience of foreign companies, we developed our own technological system, which has no analogues on the Russian market. Due to this, the company remotely monitors the technical serviceability of industrial equipment, the performance characteristics of the engine and other units in real time. The partnership with ORTIS will complement the company's existing capabilities with satellite communications channels and expand its geography.
Having received the status of a participant in the Siberian Technology Hub, the ORTIS project plans further scaling, since participation in the hub opens up access to the infrastructure and expertise of everything The Academic Park, as well as the Gazprombank ecosystem. The project plans to expand the partner network among logging companies and introduce a monitoring system for other types of equipment operating in remote and hard —to-reach areas, as well as expand the application of ORTIS products.
