Ilya Cech in Izhevsk: lecture for schoolchildren, acquaintance with industrial sites and a meeting with the technological heritage of the city

Ilya Chekhov, entrepreneur, robotics engineer, founder of Motorika and projects at the intersection of science, technology and space, made a working trip to Izhevsk.

 

The program of the visit combined several areas at once — work with gifted schoolchildren, acquaintance with the industrial enterprises of the city and visits to places related to its history and technical culture.

 

One of the key events was Ilya Chekhov's meeting with students of the Economic and Mathematical Lyceum No. 29. A meaningful lecture was held for the students, during which the topics of technology, engineering thinking, the future of science and the development of new industries were raised. The guys' questions made a special impression — they were deep, non-standard and really interested.

 

Also, as part of the trip, we got acquainted with Izhevsk Motorcycle Museum of the Kozhushkovs. We would like to thank Pavel Kozhushkov for his hospitality, personal tour and the opportunity to touch the unique history of Izhevsk motorcycle culture. We should also mention an exclusive moment — a trip on the legendary "Planet".

 

Another important part of the visit was the visit Izhevsk Technological Equipment Plant is an exemplary production facility that became the first Izhevsk partner of the Frontiers of Science Guild. Acquaintance with the company confirmed the high level of engineering culture and industrial competence that are being formed in the region.

 

A meeting was also held with ZALA AERO, a leading company in the field of unmanned technologies and control systems. During the discussion, the possibilities of applying the company's competencies in space technology, in particular in the development of landing systems for reusable rockets, were touched upon.

 

The visit to Izhevsk became part of a broader effort to develop ties between science, education and industry. Such meetings help to build a dialogue between representatives of the technology business, manufacturing enterprises and the younger generation, for whom the future is being created today.
