The Frontiers of Science Guild will be a key partner of the AGES-2026 International Conference

International Scientific Conference AGES-2026 (Active Galaxies and other issues of Extragalactic aStrophysics) will be held from 20 to 24 April 2026 at St. Petersburg State University (St. Petersburg State University).
The conference is organized by the leading scientific centers of Russia: St. Petersburg State University, Home (Pulkovo) Astronomical Observatory of the Russian Academy of Sciences, P.K. Sternberg State Astronomical Institute (GAISH) Moscow State University and the St. Petersburg Branch The Russian Academy of Sciences.
The conference will continue the tradition established by meetings on the problems of extragalactic astronomy at the Pushchino Radio Astronomy Observatory, and will bring together more than 100 leading researchers and young scientists from around the world to discuss the latest achievements in this field.
Key topics for discussion at AGES-2026:
- Physics of active galactic nuclei (AGNs), their evolution and feedback from the environment.
- Monitoring of AGN in the entire range of the electromagnetic spectrum — from radio to X-ray radiation.
- Physics and evolution of galaxies.
- Astrophysical sources of cosmic rays and neutrinos.
- Modern issues of cosmology.
The Frontiers of Science Scientific and Technological Guild, founded by entrepreneur and investor Ilya Cech, will act as a key partner of the AGES-2026 conference. The Guild will allocate 200,000 rubles to support the forum , and its founder, Ilya Cech, will take part in the closing ceremony.
Support for such events is fully consistent with the guild's mission to create a scientific and technological foundation for human exploration of the Solar System and deep space. She focuses on fundamental astrophysical research, the development of technologies for orbital, lunar and Martian stations, as well as educational and popularization projects.
Participation in AGES-2026 will allow the guild to strengthen ties with the global scientific community and contribute to the development of research that expands our understanding of the universe.
The AGES-2026 conference will become an important platform for dialogue and consolidation of the international scientific community to discuss fundamental problems of extragalactic astrophysics. The partnership with the Frontiers of Science Guild highlights the growing interest of private investment in fundamental science and its role in technological development.
