The Frontiers of Science Guild organized two sessions at the All-Russian Congress of Councils of Young Scientists in Ufa.

The Frontiers of Science Guild took part in the XIII All-Russian Congress of Councils of Young Scientists and Student Scientific Societies, which was held in Ufa. The organization initiated two thematic sessions dedicated to supporting young talents and developing technological entrepreneurship in the scientific community.
The first
session was held in the format of an open discussion, where participants discussed the existing
mechanisms for supporting young researchers. The moderator was Sergey
Mardanov is the Director of Business Development in the field of education and
Science at the Frontiers of Science Guild.
During
the discussion, it was noted that today the development of science is based not only
on government support, but also on the active participation of business,
charitable foundations and public organizations. Young scientists need
not only financial instruments, but also expertise, as well as assistance in
commercializing developments.
Sergei
Mardanov emphasized:
Support tools from businesses and foundations often operate according to different, more flexible criteria than government ones — not in opposition, but in addition to them. This allows the scientist to combine different sources. At the same time, the support of a foundation or corporation brings additional significance, deep expertise and opportunities for commercialization of developments. And this is one of the areas of work of the Frontiers of Science Guild.
The second
session was devoted to the topic "Science as a start for business". The participants
focused on technological entrepreneurship as a promising
career path for a scientist. The path from the laboratory to the market was discussed:
the founders of technology startups shared their personal experiences, talked about
the difficulties they had overcome, the solutions they had found, and the sources
of motivation. Special attention was paid to the landscape of technology
project support, from regional measures to federal programs and private initiatives.
During
the congress, representatives of the Guild also announced the preparation of practical
instructions for young teams wishing to receive support in the implementation of their
developments. The result of this work is planned to be presented at the Congress of Young
Scientists at the end of the year.
According
to the organizers, the Frontiers of Science Guild includes projects by young and
talented engineers, scientists and inventors. The organization supports
schoolchildren and students in their quest to comprehend science and create new
technologies. The Guild's mission is to promote developments that are necessary for
space exploration and future interstellar travel.
