Frontiers of Science Guild is a partner of the Skoltech popular science festival "Here?!"

"What?!
Here?!" is a popular science lecture hall at Skoltech. Scientists
will talk about research, discoveries and technologies in a simple and understandable language. The theme of this year's festival
— the resonance of science and art: Participants will explore intersections and show how
different approaches to understanding the world can enhance and complement each other. This
year, the festival will bring together more than 50 events: lectures, master classes, exhibitions,
scientific performances. All this is done in collaboration with
leading universities, museums and scientific institutes.
"Smoking room
Gutenberg, a partner of the Frontiers of Science Guild, organized a speech by Yana
Charuyskaya, an AI developer, formerly the head of the department of augmented
reality at SberDevices, and now an employee of Alfa-Bank. The speaker will talk about
the "Universe of neural networks: how AI creates texts, music, pictures, videos, and
3D worlds". In addition, some of the live broadcasts from the festival will be on the page.
VK of the Gutenberg Smoking Room project: This is one of the oldest popular science
projects that publishes popular science articles, lectures, podcasts, and other
materials. Dialogues with experts from various industries, scientists,
and science popularizers allow us to uncover topics from artificial intelligence to
thermonuclear fusion to neurobiology and space exploration.
For
the audience of high school students and their parents who choose a university or college for
admission, the POWUZAM startup stand will operate at the festival, which
, through face-to-face, virtual excursions and consultations, provides an accessible introduction to universities
and educational programs. Studying helps not only to reduce the stress of
choosing an educational institution, but also to be inspired to study science and get
an education. The project covers more than 60 partner universities in 15 regions of Russia,
including Bauman Moscow State Technical University, HSE, MEPhI, ITMO, RUDN University and others, and is included in the register
of practices for scaling in the BRICS countries.
"The Guild
unites projects in the field of basic science, applied technologies for
space, as well as education and enlightenment. We actively support schoolchildren
who are in love with space, students and young scientists. The Skoltech Festival is an extremely
useful event in terms of involving the general public in scientific
achievements and raising the general level of literacy on many issues, including
those related to the space industry. Therefore, we are pleased to become a partner of the event and
present our own projects," said Ilya Cech, co–founder
of the Frontiers of Science Guild.
